	Animal & Marine By-products Horizontal centrifuges are used for separation of water and solids from rendered fats, blood, greases, and oil in both edible and inedible rendering. It is also used in Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems to recover fats and oils.
	Ethanol Horizontal centrifuges are used as a mechanism to dewater spent grains in ethanol production, to separate or decant liquids from solids. Horizontal centrifuges provide a higher degree of dry-cake solids at lower energy requirements than other drying technologies.
	Activated Sludge & Wastewater Horizontal centrifuges are used for the purpose of dewatering sludge in wastewater treatment plants. By reducing the total volume, the costs associated with sludge treatment and disposal are reduced.
	Fruit and Vegetables Horizontal centrifuges are used in several processes in the production of fruits and vegetables, including extraction of oils from seeds (corn, rapeseed, cottonseed, flax, sunflower, and soybean), extraction of oils from fruits (olive, palm, and coconut), and extraction of starch from wheat, corn, and potatoes.
	Drilling Fluids Horizontal centrifuges are used to process unweighted and weighted, water-based and oil-based drilling fluids (i.e. muds).
